Freddie’s Transmission Service
Our team of independent repair specialists haven’t always been contracting at FixEuro, but we’ve been networking together in the Dallas area for over 20 years. Most of our staff was originally doing contract work for Freddie’s Transmission Service at 3234 Samuell Blvd. in Dallas, TX.
Freddie had a small shop with a few lifts, where the team specialized in transmission service and repair. Freddie’s quickly earned a reputation around the metroplex because of their expertise with European transmissions such as Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, Land Rover, Porsche, etc. Many of the general auto repair shops around town started sending their transmission work to Freddie’s, and the business started to grow.
2004
Eleven years later
After many years in the heart of Dallas, Freddie’s Transmission Service out grew the old shop, and started searching for a new building.
They found a pretty nice building at 11607 Harry Hines Blvd. in Dallas. The team packed up the shop, headed north, and resumed business as usual.
During this time, the FixEuro.com web site was born. We started doing business as FixEuro.com Dallas.
2010
The team moves to FixEuro.com Dallas
In 2010, Freddie Free closed his business to pursue other career opportunities in the tunneling industry. At this time, FixEuro.com Dallas continued to develop ongoing relationships and agreements with all of Freddie’s former contract labor repair specialists.
We found a better building and moved our shop once more to its current location on Southwell Road.
2011
Website woes
Our service writer helped us out by creating a web site at FixEuro.com. Unfortunately, he had registered our domain name under his own account. He has since moved back to Germany and left us without ownership of our domain name.
As a result we have been forced to abandon FixEuro.com. It’s very unfortunate, because we have a lot of content out on the web that still points to the stagnant FixEuro web site!
However, we’re making the best of the situation and moving forward with FixEuroTransmission domain, and we’re [very] glad you found us at our new site!

Present times and beyond!
Through our many years of history in the Dallas area, our core group of independent vehicle repair contractors has stuck together and is still the best place to take your vehicle for transmission repair, service, or maintenance!
We are transmission experts who specialize in Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen transmission rebuilds. We are also proud to offer general repair and transmission service for all makes and models.
